Find Rest For Your Souls

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light... Matthew 11:28-30

In this fast-moving world, every person has his or her own problems and has no time to lend an ear to another man's personal problem. How many times have you sought for someone who would be able to listen to your problems? Are you in a situation where there's no one to whom you could tell your problems or your desires for your life?

Listen up to these verses where the all-supreme God, Creator of everything, is calling out to you and me to Come To Him, for
He is willing to set you free from the pressures that you face.

With our human wisdom, we try to seek ways to resolve the many issues we face in life, and often end up with more problems. Some people seek alcohol to help them forget their worries, only to worsen their health. There are others who get into drugs, gambling and wrong kind of friends just to forget their worries "for some time" thru the day. But after all this, there is no eternal solution to their problems, because they have resorted to carry their burdens on themselves instead of laying it down at the feet of the Lord.

Remember this, my friend. There is no problem that's too big for God to solve. There is no mountain that's too tall for Him to move. There is no storm that's too dark for Him to calm. There is no sorrow that's too deep for Him to soothe. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to this world to take all our burdens and carry them on himself, to set us free. Now, what are you waiting for?

God gives us jus three simple steps to find rest from carrying our burdens all our thru our lives.

1. When we
Come to Him with all our burdens and lay it down at His feet,
2. When we whole-heartedly take His yoke upon us -
obey Him even when it hurts,
3. When we incline our ears to him and hear Him speak to us and
learn from Him,
God will give us rest.

My friend, this God is humble and gentle. If you are stubborn to handle your life on your own, He will let you have your way (not for too long, though).
He will never force you. But He's always waiting for you to open up your heart and give all your cares to Him so that He could set you free. Be it your career or future or marriage or whatever. He knows best what to give you and when to give you. Don't hasten to do things on your own and miss on the best that God has planned for you.

Before you leave this page, I would like for you to click here and listen to a song which Scott Wesley Brown wrote, which has ministered to many souls and I'm sure it will speak to your heart too.

Have a blessed day!!!

Your friend,
